Lemon Bundt Cake Candle (by Angie) REVIEW

I was fortunate enough to be one of the first to review a candle made by fellow mom, Angie Beechan. I had previously purchased a candle from Angie when she was an independent consultant of a known candle company. Angie later became inspired to create her own candles and after responding to a post on Angie's Blog, I was able to try out one of her splendid creations.

My Review

I recieved my package on Wednesday and as I opened it, I noticed the mason jar had a wonderful clear design on it which cannot be seen on the image above. The jar's design is pretty but it could probably use some form of label on top of the jar cover perhaps (which I am sure Angie has plans to add in the future) ...just to add a splash of contrasting color.

I have been burning the candle for 4 hours at a time for the past 2 days. I noticed immediately after lighting the wick for the first time that there was a pretty decent amount of scent embedded in the candle. The Lemon Bundt Cake scent made me hungry hehe. The candle did have some bubbling while the wax was heated, but in a way... I feel like it added to the whole 'handmade' feel that the candle had going on ...and the candle even looks like a dessert when the wax is hardened, which again made me hungry hehe.

One of the things that impressed me most about the candle was its burn time. It seems to have a very long burn time life. As I stated earlier... I have been burning the candle for 4 hours at a time for the past 2 days and the candle jar is still more than half full!

I am loving Angie's Lemon Bundt Cake scented candle and I can't wait to see what else she has planned for the future. I would totally recommend this candle to my friends...

Great job Angie!

  1. Thanks so much for the review. Your feedback was helpful. Go input there about the label. I do plan on creating one. Not quite as crafty as you when it comes to the designs and things but I'll see what i can do.
